How It Works
PCM cells solidify when chilled and absorb heat as they melt back to liquid, delivering controlled, reliable cooling.
-
Solid = active
-
Liquid = deactivated
Cell layout:
-
Front: 4 × 4 cells
-
Back: 4 × 5 cells
Usage Tips
-
Do not wear directly on skin. Add a layer over it to extend cooling time.
-
Always cover the vest — leaving it exposed reduces duration.
-
Works under PPE, hazmat/airtight suits, mascot suits, firefighting gear, and medical PPE.
Activation
-
Cool in ice water, freezer, fridge, or any environment at least 3°C below its set temperature.
-
Keep the vest flat or hang it in a cool room.
-
Avoid stacking; rotate if you must stack.
-
Surface may feel colder at first — it stabilises at 21°C.
-
Activates in rooms under 18°C.
Transport
Use a cool bag or cooling backpack to keep the vest activated on the way to the worksite or hospital.
Cleaning
Wipe clean with warm water or disinfectant.
